About Missdj

With over 20 years within the club scene, Missdj has built up a well-known name within Stockholm’s nightlife and has played in most major venues in Stockholm, London and recently New York. When Missdj plays, you can expect a refreshing blend of afrobeats, hiphop& rnb , soul, disc, dancehall, soca and remixes, both classics, bangers mixed with the latest.

She has played at the Nobel Prize Afterparty, Toca Tuesdays (NYC) Burna Boy Official Afterparty, Stockholm Cultural Festival, the Polarprize, Brilliant Minds and played with/for profiles such as Boddhi Satva, Burna Boy, Timaya, Juls, A-star, Diamond Platnumz, Kid Ink, Magic System, Yemi Alade, Skibii, Yellowman, Nenneh Cherry, Pete Rock, Crazy Legs, Tony Touch, Sabina Ddumba, Red Fox, Denzel Curry, Cleo, Seinabo Sey, Linda Pira, Jose Chameleone, Alpha Blondy, Jeru the Damaja, Don Omar, Tego Calderone, Mats Nileskär (P3 Soul), Sister Nancy and many others.

Missdj is also part and co-funder of the Stockholm-based DJ crew Sugarcane, which was formed in 2013 by Missdj, Sister Justice, Aissa and Dj Erykah. Sugarcane have had great success and is frequently booked into Stockholm nightlife with their ”Good Vibes Music”.
